The Lotus Garden is a community garden — and community of gardeners — on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, 20 feet above West 97th Street. Located on the roof of a garage, our 1/6th of an acre is a unique, beautiful, urban oasis that is maintained by our 25 gardeners and other volunteers.
We are open to the public every Sunday afternoon from April through November, between 1 and 4 PM (unless the weather is consistently inclement). We invite you to visit and experience this special place, to become a key-holder and to volunteer. (Look for the gate just to the east of the garage on the south side of West 97th Street between Broadway and West End Avenue.)
For more information and all questions e-mail us at info@thelotusgarden.org.
